Gatherings and Offerings
Scavenger Church of the Overlooked is a Portland-based community that treats learning itself as a spiritual practice when done through curiosity. We host regular reflective gatherings and partner with schools, organizations, and supporters to design creative, human-centered programs that nurture growth and connection.
We meet to create a space for learning and practice through joy — a place where people can reconnect with the small, sensitive, and forgotten parts of themselves that experience the awe of interacting with existence.
From this same approach we work with schools, community groups, and organizations to design learning experiences that honor empathy, curiosity, and connection as reliable methods of learning and engagement.
Each gathering, collaboration, and conversation helps this work grow.
If you feel drawn to connect — whether to host a workshop, support the mission, or learn more about our approach — we’d love to hear from you.
